Firefox 2.0.0.9 troubleshooting articles

Gmail made some really drastic changes about the same time FF 2.0.0.9 was released, and THAT is causing people terrible problems in FF. Any extensions that have to do with alerting to or managing GMail are probably thrashing, and that’s almost never a good thing.

    Thanks Cate – some helpful tips here, especially the troublesome extensions. Mike, you mentioned in your last podcast how you run Firefox pared down to a few essential extensions – it would be interesting to hear more on this.

    I had a problem with my Gmail Notifier and I never realized how much I missed the darn thing.

    It took about 2 weeks, but eventually it updated itself (the gmail notifier extension)and I am good to go.
