    Mike:
    That was AWESOME!
So glad I stayed up because it was nice seeing you and your set up!

You answered ALL of my questions and I thank both you and Ryan for the video!

You continue to astound me by going the extra mile! The video quality was great I just hope your host can handle the load…

  2. Mike says:

    Thank you.

Video is a lot harder. After some more experience I should be able to reduce the post production time.

  3. Mike says:

LibSyn should have no problem with the load, the file is under 50mb which is the size of one of my longer audio podcasts

  4. Barbra says:

    Hey…
I still have questions on how you connected the power.’
Watched twice and it is unclear

  5. Mike says:

It came with its own power cord that I had plugged into the mess of wires on the floor. It is a proprietary cord.

  6. Fuzz says:

Is anyone else having trouble syncing the video the the iPod?
I will try updating everything when I get home but when I tried this morning before work it said it wouldn’t copy as it couldn’t play on my iPod (5th Gen).

  7. Mike says:

I do not have a video iPod to test. Let me know. I encoded the video in iMovie for Quicktime.

  8. Ed Ovett says:

I agree with Barbra. It was awesome to see Mike’s setup but more importantly to see a technical explanation demonstrated is always nice. Watching a lot of tech videos these days and one learns an awful lot that way!! Keep it up and let’s have more videos!

Great video Mike. I agree – you have to hunt around for a good device – I had one IDE to USB adapter that worked once and that was it! By the way, neat den.

  10. Shawn says:

Mike, how cool is it to come to the end of your video and see the usb adaptor that I bought? It is a nice unit. I think I bought it after you talked about one of these devices several months ago. Definitely worth having.

BTW, the video wouldn’t sync to my iPod either. I just watched in iTunes instead.

  11. Mike says:

I will investigate what I need to do to get the video to play on an iPod.

    Suggestions …..

  12. Shawn says:

    Mike,

I use Videora iPod Converter (videora.com). I’m sure there are better but it’s free and serves my limited needs.
