Webuser magazine reviewed several online backup solutions and placed Mediamax top – 25gb free is not bad and it supports ftp. Other sites offering 5g free include myotherdrive and mydatabus. I have tried Carbonite and Mozy and can recommend both. Get well soon, Mike.

Great show, I hope you are feeling better. A couple of comments: for the gentleman inquiring about VNC for Vista try tightvnc http://www.tightvnc.com I can’t vouch for Vista because I am not running Vista, but it is a great open source program. I have it running under XP to control a machine in a different state and it runs flawlessly. Also on your Mythtv quest, I highly recommend the Linux distribution Knoppmyth. This distro takes much of the frustration of installing and configuring Mythtv. Lastly for the gentleman inquiring about Linux reviews and websites. The absolte best site is http://www.distrowatch.com
