This is one of the reasons why I have never downloaded Google Desktop.
Playing with a friend’s PC that HAD downloaded it, I was amazed that he searched his harddrive via a google website.
If that does not scream of NO security, call me crazy.
After this Google release so many people talked down the built-in Windows search tool. I never understood that because if I needed to find something I had saved and did not know where it ended up [a rarity mind you] Windows search found it. Constistantly.
