From Kahn – I found some freewares to convert AVI to DVD. One of your listener wanted to convert AVI to DVD:

  • Avi2DVD – Avi2Dvd is a all in one tool that converts avi/mkv/ogm with few clicks in a vcd/svcd/dvd. Avi2dvd uses only freeware tools and can handle varius freeware enconders (QuEnc/FreeEnc/NuEnc) or CCE. PAL to NTSC, NTSC to PAL, switchable subtitles, basic menu and more.
  • DIKO – D.I.K.O. is a one click AVI/ DivX/ XVid/ DVD to DVD conversion tool. It works with many other softwares to achieve the best quality and efficiency possible in this conversion.
  • DVDtoSVCD – All-In-One DVD to DVD/SVCD/VCD and AVI/DivX/XviD to DVD/SVCD/VCD tool. Requires Cinema Craft Encoder or TMPGEnc or Procoder or QuEnc encoder(free).
  • The FIlmMachine – All In One AVI,MP4 to DVD/(S)VCD conversion utility. Supports DVD subtitles(both permanent and selectable). NTSC to PAL and PAL to NTSC conversion. It also supports standalone encoders like CinemaCraft Encoder SP and Canopus Procoder.
