Modify the Registry (Advanced users):
- Open the Registry Editor (search for "regedit" in the Start menu).
- Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace.
- Locate the OneDrive-related entries (you can identify them by looking for the "OneDrive" name in the right pane).
- Identify the duplicate entry: The duplicate entry will have a different alphanumeric key. Note this key.
- Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID.
- Find the folder with the same alphanumeric key as the duplicate OneDrive entry.
- Right-click on the entry and select "Modify".
- Change the "Value data" from "1" to "0" to disable it.
- Close the Registry Editor and restart File Explorer
