Have a PC with Windows 10 Home and want to go to Pro but Bios key is preventing upgrade.

You must have a legal and unused windows 10 pro key for this to work.

Create a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Media flash drive.

Create two text files.

ei.cfg

[EditionID]
Professional
[Channel]
OEM


pid.txt

[PID]
Value= XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Where    XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX  is key.

Copy both files  to  sources folder on flash drive.

Now you are ready to go.
