Update

After recording the shows on Thursday, I had an attack of diverticulitis. I went to the hospital on Friday and I was admitted for treatment. I did not get a chance to edit and post the shows. I had to cancel the Philly Tech Guys for today. I will post the shows from Thursday when I return home from the hospital.

Mike I hope you feel better. Take your time in getting the rest, let your body heal itself. I know you are dedicated to your podcast, but we can miss this Thursday if it means you getting better. Take care of yourself my friend!!

Hey Mike this is Kins. Hope they are treating you well at the hospital. Sounds like at least you have your laptop to use at the hospital. Hey maybe you will get some consulting work at the hospital by chance?. I will pray for your healing.

I think all of your listeners feel just like it is one of our close friends or family members that is in the hospital!

It is pretty hard for anyone to listen to your shows week after week and not feel like we know you. (And not in the stalker kind of way… 🙂 )

But I think I speak for a very large silent majority when I say we hope you feel better very soon and we offer our best wishes!!!

Please don't hesitate to ask us for anything!

    Get well soon!!

Look after yourself and take your time to get back to full health. Question: How did you manage to update the website from hospital!!

    Ian..

  10. Mike says:

    Ian –
Thank you. My wife brought my laptop up today and I am lying in bed on the internet with full WiFi. The first thing I did was update the website and then posted on Twitter.

I am overwhelmed with all of you wishes to get well. It helps!!! Thank you!!!

  11. Ah, a true geek! The day you pass away (hopefully not anytime soon), I bet you'll have one of those state of the art headstones that includes a video screen and continuously plays a video of your life or a slideshow. I know I wouldn't give up my tech toys as long as I'm alive, sick or not! 🙂

  12. Hey folks…I'm sure Mike is doing good and feeling strong, as we all know he is. But I'm sure we'll pray for him anyway. We should also pray for the hospital who's bandwidth usage shot up 1000% since Mike's admittance. 🙂
Be well Mike, we do all love you dearly and look forward to a speedy recovery.
    Lou..

    Mike,
    Focus on feeling better.
We can get by a few more days without a ShadowProtect or GoToMeeting trial. :b

But we will require even more tech talk on your next show. 🙂

    Happy Trails,
    Blain

    Mike,
Thats one hell of a way to take a break from your normal routine! Hoping to hear that you are well enough to go home soon but also hoping you take it easy when you do. The shows can wait, your health is more important.

Your positive attitude alone will get you better! But it doesn't matter how long until the next podcast so long as you take things easy!
