That was AWESOME!
So glad I stayed up because it was nice seeing you and your set up!

You answered ALL of my questions and I thank both you and Ryan for the video!

You continue to astound me by going the extra mile! The video quality was great I just hope your host can handle the load...

Thank you.

Video is a lot harder. After some more experience I should be able to reduce the post production time.

LibSyn should have no problem with the load, the file is under 50mb which is the size of one of my longer audio podcasts

Hey...
I still have questions on how you connected the power.'
Watched twice and it is unclear

It came with its own power cord that I had plugged into the mess of wires on the floor. It is a proprietary cord.

Is anyone else having trouble syncing the video the the iPod?
I will try updating everything when I get home but when I tried this morning before work it said it wouldn't copy as it couldn't play on my iPod (5th Gen).

I do not have a video iPod to test. Let me know. I encoded the video in iMovie for Quicktime.

I agree with Barbra. It was awesome to see Mike's setup but more importantly to see a technical explanation demonstrated is always nice. Watching a lot of tech videos these days and one learns an awful lot that way!! Keep it up and let's have more videos!

Great video Mike. I agree - you have to hunt around for a good device - I had one IDE to USB adapter that worked once and that was it! By the way, neat den.

Mike, how cool is it to come to the end of your video and see the usb adaptor that I bought? It is a nice unit. I think I bought it after you talked about one of these devices several months ago. Definitely worth having.

BTW, the video wouldn't sync to my iPod either. I just watched in iTunes instead.

I will investigate what I need to do to get the video to play on an iPod.

Suggestions .....

Mike,

I use Videora iPod Converter (videora.com). I'm sure there are better but it's free and serves my limited needs.
